Fantasy che deludono dopo il primo libro

La sostenibilità di una serie fantasy rappresenta una delle sfide più complesse per gli scrittori di questo genere. Sebbene alcuni autori inizino il loro lavoro con un’idea chiara della direzione della trama e dello sviluppo dei personaggi, non è sempre così. Questo può comportare problemi nella coesione generale dell’opera, anche se le opere successive non sono necessariamente inferiori al primo libro. Infatti, i sequel possono risultare deludenti a causa dell’alto livello raggiunto dal primo romanzo.

1. gentleman bastard sequence (2006–present)

The Lies of Locke Lamora, primo libro della Gentleman Bastard Sequence, si distingue come un’opera fantasy recente destinata a diventare un classico.
